From artwork to machine file

Three steps, and you can stop after any of them.

Step 01

Bring in your shape

Draw directly on the canvas, set type, or import an SVG. Existing machine files open too, so you can pick up work you already have.

Step 02

Choose how it is sewn

Pick a stitch method per object and tune it — density, pull compensation, underlay, direction. Preview the result as thread, not as lines.

Step 03

Export and stitch it

Write out a file your machine reads. What you saw on the canvas is what the exported file sews.

Seventeen ways to lay thread

Every object picks its own method, so one design can mix a fine satin border with a textured fill and a single running outline.
